On paper, it was one of those things that didn’t seem like it would work, but in the end I couldn’t be more proud of how everything was executed.

It was basically doing a show, then flying to London to do a festival, then doing radio stuff, then a TV performance, then flying back to LA and landing, then doing a show at the Fonda, and then the next day doing another show at the Fonda. The schedule was very condensed and there was barely any downtime. Probably the biggest one was when I had to go to London to do a bunch of promo stuff. What has life been like on the road? Were there any memorable moments? You’re currently on your first headlining North American tour. It exists in their headspace but it is inspiring to see them be influenced, be informed, and pass on that knowledge. The fact that people of any stature at all are listening to any of my music in the first place is surreal to me. I’m stoked that people love “Weight in Gold.” It’s a huge honour. My reaction was surprise because I was an unknown artist at the time.
